Our Mission Statement The purpose of CCPPSN is to:
1. Provide business-related support and information to its members
2. To offer a support system of peers and friends
3. To build an awareness of pet sitting in our community
All activities and work by the Network are to be designed to benefit the entire membership and pet sitting industry as a whole.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)
What is CCPPSN and what does it do?
The Central Coast Professional Pet Sitters Network is a group of San Luis Obispo County pet sitters who meet each month. Topics discussed during meetings include business operations, animal welfare issues, and business ethics. All members are responsible for seeking new members from the community and mentoring them. CCPPSN maintains a database of individual pet sitting businesses within its membership in order to facilitate client referrals. This is invaluable since the typical pet sitter receives many inquiries from potential clients who do not reside within the service area of their business.
Who is eligible to become a member of CCPPSN?
Membership in this network is open to all professional pet sitting businesses licensed to operate in the city or community in which business is conducted, and who has customers in San Luis Obispo County. Each member pet sitting business must be a member of a professional pet sitting organization (such as Pet Sitters International, National Association of Professional Pet Sitters, or Pet Sitters Associates) or agree to become a member within 30 days. In addition each member must carry pet sitter liability insurance.
How can I receive information about becoming a member of CCPPSN or starting a professional pet sitting business?
**For membership or pet sitting business information: Please call or e mail CCPPSN founder, Gabriella Schrader @ 801-PETS (801-7387)
**Media and all other inquiries should be e mailed to Sarah Dyar @ contact@CentralCoastPetSitters.com
